Our take
I've been impressed with the Z-EDGE UG27Q. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make for buttery smooth gameplay in fast-paced titles. QHD resolution at 27 inches looks crisp, and the 3000:1 contrast ratio provides deep blacks. FreeSync works well to eliminate tearing. However, the lack of built-in speakers and the Energy Star rating of E are minor downsides. Overall, it's a great value for a high-refresh-rate QHD monitor.
